PROJECT MANAGER

I’ve spent the last 15 years as a project manager building high-end luxury custom homes. I started my career as a builder in Jackson Hole, Wyoming, and moved to Whitefish in November 2022 with my wife and two kids.

At Malmquist, my role is to work closely with homeowners and architects to help bring their vision to life. I work alongside our site superintendents and subcontractors to make sure each home is built according to plan, with quality control at the center of every decision. Building at this level takes effort and attention from every part of the team, and that shared commitment is what allows us to deliver the kind of homes Malmquist is known for.

What makes Malmquist great is the people. Everyone is professional, willing to help, and focused on the same goal: building some of the finest custom homes in the Flathead Valley. Egos are checked at the door, and there is a real sense that we are all working together toward something bigger than any one person.

I recently completed construction on my own custom home, which gave me an even greater appreciation for what our clients experience throughout the building process. Being on that side of the project has made me a better builder and helped me better understand the decisions, emotions, and trust that go into creating a home.

Outside of work, I enjoy skiing and chasing my kids around Big Mountain. Both my son and daughter compete in freeride competitions, which makes for an exciting ski season. In the summer, our family enjoys mountain biking and taking advantage of Whitefish’s trail system. I’m grateful to be part of Malmquist because it is an organization that not only builds exceptional homes, but truly cares for its employees and their families.
