Dustin Stepper
PROJECT MANAGER
I was born in Butte and raised in Columbus, Montana, where I developed an appreciation for hard work and craftsmanship at an early age. I studied Construction Management and Sustainable Building in Missoula before spending two years at Yellowstone Club. I later returned to Billings, where I owned and operated a construction business focused on commercial and federal projects. My fiancée’s career in radiation therapy eventually brought us to the Flathead Valley, and we quickly knew it was home.
At Malmquist, I’m involved in every phase of the building process, from initial planning through project completion. I work closely with homeowners, architects, and engineers while helping manage scheduling, selections, billing, and on-site coordination. Building strong relationships with clients and helping bring their vision to life is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
What I enjoy most about Malmquist is the people and the opportunity to work on truly unique homes. Every project presents new challenges, and seeing a home come together from concept to completion is incredibly fulfilling. Building in Northwest Montana is especially meaningful because each home reflects a client’s story, vision, and lifestyle.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether that’s boating, fishing, hunting, or getting to the gym. I’m grateful to be part of the Malmquist team because it feels like family. Since moving to the Flathead Valley, my fiancée and I have been welcomed with open arms, and that sense of community is something I truly value.
