Rob Sorensen
PROJECT MANAGER
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and spent most of my adult life in Leavenworth, where my wife and I raised our kids. After they grew up and moved out, we were ready for a new start somewhere within a few hours of Spokane, where our younger son lives. That search eventually brought us to the Flathead Valley.
At Malmquist, I work as an onsite supervisor and project manager, managing the day-to-day work on site, coordinating schedules, and working closely with subcontractors to keep each project moving forward. I appreciate the rare, one-of-a-kind homes we get to build in Whitefish, each with its own character, challenges, materials, and details. What I enjoy most about Malmquist is the support and trust from the team, along with the integrity, values, and high level of craftsmanship the company represents. Outside of work, I enjoy building homemade self bows with hand tools, hunting, fishing, exploring new country on foot or horseback, and playing guitar and electric bass at church.
