I grew up in Whitefish and have spent my entire life in the area. Some of my earliest memories are exploring Glacier National Park, fishing local rivers, and spending time outdoors with family and friends. I was fortunate to raise my two boys here as well, sharing many of the same places and experiences that shaped my own childhood.
At Malmquist, I help guide projects from conception through completion, working closely with clients, subcontractors, and our team to deliver exceptional homes. Every project presents its own challenges, and I enjoy finding practical solutions that keep things moving while maintaining the quality, craftsmanship, and experience our clients expect.
What I enjoy most about working at Malmquist is the people. We have a talented team that takes pride in craftsmanship, values strong relationships, and genuinely cares about doing things the right way. This is a relationship-driven business, and many of the tradespeople, suppliers, and clients I work with are people I’ve known for years. That shared pride in building homes the right way, and building them to be enjoyed for generations, makes this work especially meaningful.
Outside of work, you’ll most often find me hunting, fishing, skiing, and spending time with my family. Whether it’s on a river in the summer, in the mountains during hunting season, or on the ski hill in winter, I enjoy taking advantage of everything Northwest Montana has to offer.
MY WHITEFISH TIP
Spend a day exploring Glacier National Park, take a swim in Lake McDonald, and finish the evening with live music at one of Whitefish’s many local restaurants. That’s about as close as you can get to a perfect Montana summer day.
