I was born in Colorado but my family roots in Whitefish date back to the late 1930’s. My family moved back to Whitefish Montana when I was just a young kid. It’s been a wonderful place to grow up and to now raise my own kids.
I oversee every aspect of the business. I enjoy the challenge of improving our systems and operations to continually provide for a higher quality service and product to our clients. It’s a privilege to be able to work with such a wonderful team of professionals doing what we love to do.
Each home we build is a prototype, one of one. I highly enjoy implementing new building sciences and new design features that are unique to each project. The challenge of hearing someone’s vision and turning it into a tangible piece of art is rewarding.
I greatly appreciate the level of talented craftsman we have available in this small community. Our management team and our trade partners are extremely talented and can pull off some of the most difficult and complex design features.
During my time away from work I enjoy being outside recreating in the mountains, lakes and rivers. The diversity of activities available in this area keeps my interest and enjoyment high. I couldn’t ask for a better place to live.
I’m grateful to be part of Malmquist because of our team! We have such an incredible team established here. It feels like family. And I’m incredibly grateful for our trade partners, many of whom we have worked with for decades. It’s a partnership focused on quality. And most importantly, I’m grateful for our clients! Or shall I call them friends? We have been so fortunate to make so many new life-long friends as we build their new homes.
MY WHITEFISH TIP
If you want the best customer service with a side of a great steak, don’t leave town without visiting the crew at Spencer’s steak house. Some of those ladies have been there over 30 years and they continue to send you home with a full belly and a warm heart.
